The Rockland Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program began in the 1993-94 school year.

The Rockland D.A.R.E. program is a comprehensive drug and violence prevention program. The D.A.R.E. program is a collaborative effort between the Rockland Public Schools and the Rockland Police Department.

Rockland’s D.A.R.E. program is presently teaching in all Rockland Public Schools 5th grades.

Sergeant Brian Coakley is the Rockland Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Officer.
